- Have had Back problems for a while now. Bought this well constructed book and was pleased with results after doing some of stretching exercises. Very Colorfully illustrated Book with exercises not only for the back but Upper and Lower Body as well as Core Muscles. Contain both Beginning and Intermediate Exercises. Gave it a four star only because the Cover of book was slightly damaged. I'm 63 yrs old and highly recommend this book because of its content.

- One a very good and easy to follow book with excellent pictures, which show what group of muscles are working during stretching. This book will be great helper not for CP only but for physical therapist or massage therapist, as well as for yoga practitioners, or just for someone who want to take good care for muscles and body health. I truly like the book.
- I saw this book originally on the counter at a physical therapy office and figured why not try to find my own. Written by a chiropractor with understanding of muscles, bones, tendons, and how they all combine to move the body.
I love the way it lists all the stretching exercises for either beginner, intermediate, or advanced. I am a big girl, 200+ lbs, and with the help of this book I am able to move easier (If you are or ever have been fat, you know what I mean. If you don't know what I'm talking about oh slender person; be glad!) and do my other regular exercises, even walking, easier and with better body mechanics.
All stretches are slow and fluid. No fast jerky methods. Each one shows all muscles involved and which of those muscles are doing more work and which are doing less. Each one also tells which muscles it is best suited for. Such as what stretches to do for neck pains, mid back pain, etc. Tells you specific things to do while in the stretches and specific things not to do.
This is not a book of "exercises", it's a book of stretches that exercise THOROUGHLY. - This book is of good quality,well written with clear illustrations easy to follow.
If you practice Yoga at all then this book would be a waste of money as it uses Yoga exercise positions .
Go on line to u-tube and watch videos of Yoga for back and shoulder exercises. - The Healthy Back Anatomy has full color pictures and very clear and easy to follow instructions. Also give an explanation of what muscles are used.
