"Kitten in the Kitchen encapsulates key lessons I want to instill in my son which is the acceptance of other cultures through language and food. My 3 month old will soon be attending a bilingual daycare and this book promotes another language he would otherwise not be exposed to. The storyline is very cute and sweet but my favorite aspect of this book are the recipes and the coloring book portions. It helps him absorb the information using different techniques which I truly appreciate since as a child I struggled with reading comprehension. Very good investment and I intend to buy as gifts!! Thank you!"

  • This is the second book purchased from author Jim Gribble and I love it! Great book to read to my daughter and will be for her to read once she gets a little older. Very neat how kitchen health and safety are present in the book as well. I love how there are two pages to color along with two recipes from the book in the back!
  • I bought this book for my niece and she loves it! My niece loves books and I wanted to share a book with her that was different than the other books she already has. It amazed her to know she can learn a bit of Chinese and loved her giggles as she tried to pronounce the words. The illustrations in the book were vibrant and fun. I would totally recommend this book.
  • I got this book for my niece and she absolutely loves it. The story and pictures are wonderful, but best of all it introduces her to another language. I would recommend getting for any young child to help further their cognitive development and bilingual education.
